The other day it rained, and I took this picture of some raindrops in a dog track by the river. Right now it kind of reminds me of the bugs I ran into on the greenway today. Seriously, I had to pick over 20 of them off of my clothes when I got off my bike. I don't know where they were all going, but I bet they didn't want to end up mashed into my jeans. Now that I'm thinking about it, I wonder if I had bugs all over my face... no one said anything but would people tell me if there were bugs all over my face?

It's over! well, almost...
I am officially done with my third year of AmeriCorps.
WOO HOO!
Only thing is, I'm helping out with the CTEP program this week and next so that the pre-service orientation goes off without a hitch. So really I don't feel done, because I'm still workin'. Hard for the money. Yes, I got to get paid!
I'm hoping that we get the member handbook all ready to go and printed tomorrow, and then it's on to cleaning out the office and sorting and organizing. Hopefully they will hire a program assistant that will start next week, so I can help train that person it. That's the closest thing they'll have to my job for next year!
While I generally don't like to think that I'm replaceable, I think they have some good applicants and I'm sure everything will be fine without me. I have to admit that one part of me (I wish it were a smaller part) hopes that things will crash and burn without me. But I'm sure it will be fine! And most of me hopes so :)
It's almost time for my nightly dose of South Park, so until next time...
It's kind of weird to be posting back in my blogger blog again... I think I need to make this blog way more bad-ass. It's been extremely neglected for the past year...
